Enormous and heartfelt thanks to the amazing crew who worked long hours on Saturday, Dec. 14 to dissemble the dojo at 561 Windsor Street and move everything we needed–including 50 mats–to our new space at the Reservoir Church, 170 Rindge Avenue, Cambridge. Over 25 ATJB members and friends came and generously contributed their labor and skills. Reservoir Church is a beautiful and welcoming environment in which to continue our practice.
Members taking public transit can walk from the Red Line stop in Davis Square (10 minutes), or take the #83 bus to the stop right in front of the Church. We have plenty of off-street parking for drivers — the entrance to the lot is on Middlesex St. The entrance to the dojo is in the back of the Church.
Because we are sharing space as part of the Reservoir Church, which serves multiple communities, our mats will need to be taken up once a week (after Saturday classes) and put back down on Mondays. For the time being, there will be no Sunday classes.
We look forward to the next stage of our journey at Reservoir Church. Thanks again to our hosts for sharing their beautiful space with our dojo. See you there!
